"I began beading when I was five, and came to glass in my early twenties. The jewelry and sculpture I create stems from the ritualistic nature of my childhood art.
There are many technical, stylistic and thematic connections I find between my functional and sculptural work. I use multiple processes to make components which I then sew together with beads to make labor intensive kinetic jewelry and wall tapestries."
