Holly Cruise started working with glass in 1995 as an apprentice at UrbanGlass: The New York Experimental Glass Workshop. While there, she worked with many reputable artists as an artist's assistant and teaching assistant, and took part in the work study program.
In 1997 Holly moved on to New Orleans, Louisiana, where she worked in a production glassblowing studio. Holly settled down in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1999. From 2000-2004, she worked for New-Small & Sterling Studio Glass on Granville Island. Holly has also pursued flame working in her shared studio at the Glass Onion, where she continues to make whimsical jewelry and small sculpture.
Holly was the president of the British Columbia Glass Arts Association for two years, executing several successful exhibitions of glass art, including Back to The Bank at the Pendulum Gallery and Arrivals & Departures at the Roundhouse Community Center.
