Nancy Callan has been working as a glass artist since receiving her BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1996. She has been a member of Venetian maestro Lino Tagliapietra's glass blowing team for several years, and has traveled throughout the U.S. as his teaching assistant. Additional teaching experience includes courses at "The Studio" in Corning, New York, and advanced workshops at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle. In 2001, she was awarded the Creative Glass Center of America Fellowship at Wheaton Village in New Jersey.
