"My most recent Geometry Series is composed of bands of fused glass in which I often trap color or light between layered sheets. Cutting away interior sections to reveal images between the walls of opacity, I then create a microclimate contained between layers. Metaphorically, it is the creation of a separate world between the lines. I use these solid elements to make the observer ask why, and search for the reward that is often not directly on the surface, but hidden between the layers."
