"This body of work investigates the relationship between the tangible and intangible worlds, and how they complement one another," says Fishman. The varying sizes and shifting planes of the translucent disks cast dramatic shadows that are as much a part of the work as the glass itself. The pieces are enhanced and completed by the light, shadows, and negative space around them.
