"Every material contributes something unique to the visual dialogue; for glass, it is its transparency. As a sculptural material, it stands alone -- that what defines the work is not necessarily dependent on the outside surfaces. Since this interior space is of great interest to me, I have chosen to create sculptures that draw the viewer in."
