The subject matter in Erica Rosenfeld's work is memory based and imagined. She uses glass to preserve the stories people use to memorialize loved ones, places, and events. Her jewelry is made with various glass and beading techniques, and serves as models for larger scale sculptures. Both are inspired by the "time-intensive nature of prison art, the style of turn-of-the-century European design and from the events of my life."
