"My sculptural glass dresses deal with how a woman's body image relates to her role in society. The form they take on manifests a ghostlike presence which stands for the spirit within. Because these forms are absent of a body, the woman's presence is not personified. This gives the pieces a mystical quality, which relates them to each individual viewer. One can begin to imagine a body being poured into them or a spirit being lifted out."
