In 1995, Jack was introduced to glass while attending the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.
Jack has studied at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, The Penland School of Art located in the mountains of North Carolina with Emilio Santini and Cesare Toffolo, and The Eugene Glass School, Oregon with Shane Fero. In 2004 Jack studied under Cesare Toffolo in Murano, Italy.
