Alex Stisser received his BFA in Glass/Sculpture from Illinois State University in 1996. He has since attended Pilchuck Glass School as a student, scholarship recipient, teaching assistant and summer staff member. Starting as a production glassblower at North River Glass in Massachusetts, he then moved to Seattle in 2001, where he worked at the legendary glass studios Manifesto Glass and Ben Moore, Inc. In 2002, Stisser joined the Museum of Glass Hot Shop Team in Tacoma, where he currently serves as a Lead Gaffer.
