Blanche Tilden is a graduate of the Jewelry and Glass programs at Sydney College of the Arts, as well as the Canberra School of Art. She has received the Stephen Procter Fellowship Award and a Pilchuck Scholarship with fellow Vetri artist Shane Fero. Tilden uses stainless steel, precious metals, titanium and aluminum as equal parts to her glass. Although mechanical and restrained in nature, Blanche "gives metal the capacity to flow.
