Randy lives in the Pacific Northwest, where he has worked for Pilchuck Glass School as a faculty member and gaffer since 1990. He has been a principle member of the William Morris blowing team for twelve years. Randy's "Shingle Bottles" juxtapose his fascination for organic textures and coloring with his passion for blowing pure, refined forms. The broken and jagged edges of the layered sections of color capture the fragility and sharpness of glass, and yet, are softened by the whole of the form.
