Carolyn Wang creates her work on the belief that "the art object and the utensil seek to be one. Through color, balance, and composition, she designs objects to delight and also evoke the possibility and versatility of use. The properties of glass as a medium further embed each piece with the qualities of light. Reflection and transmission are integral to the design and allow the work to capture another variable and dimension of play."
