Katherine Rutecki's realistic birds are cast from carven wax molds, each meticulously created by the artist for one bird and destroyed during the casting process. Katherine's work can be seen in collections around the world and she has taught at the Pratt Fine Arts Center, Hastings College, and the Corning Museum of Glass.
